Guwahati Eye Centre is a specialized hospital for cataract surgery (MICS). The centre has four state of the art OTs equipped with the latest hi- tech phaco machines and microscopes for cataract surgery which is done with eye drops (no injection) and without stiches (stitchless). The time required for surgery is around ten minutes.High quality Indian and imported intraocular lenses are available including monofocal, multifocal and toric lenses at reasonable cost.
The procedure is daycare and the patient has to come to the hospital for just two hours.
