COMMUNITY SERVICE

Guwahati Eye Centre has a comprehensive community eye care program. The Centre carries out free eye checkup camps in both semi urban and rural areas for cataract and diabetic eye screening. Patients who have cataract can avail surgery at Guwahati Eye Centre free of cost.

School screening camps are organized on a regular basis for early detection of refractive errors and other eye problems. Guwahati Eye Centre seeks to expand its community outreach program so that it can provide its eye care services to more and more people in underserved areas.
